Bio metrics letters sent to wrong address

Hi everyone
I just need a comment on the following issue please,
I applied for my naturalisation on 24th July and kept waiting for my acknowledgement and biometrics letters until yesterday - when I discovered that the letters were being sent to a completely wrong address.

I had applied for my ILR (in 2017) through a solicitor but for naturalisation I did not use any solicitor and somehow home office has still got his (solicitor's) details in their system and they sent all the letters over to his address. First two letters arrived on 3rd August and he had a difficulty in recognising my name, but then he received a reminder for biometrics on 22nd August and he luckily managed to trace my records and handed this letter over to me yesterday - I was still within 10 days window so I immediately registered my biometrics yesterday straight away.

This is really annoying because I have waited anxiously for these letters, I have now written a letter to home office on the address provided in the biometrics letter to correct my postal address by highlighting the reason of my delay in registration of biometrics. Is that enough or I should also send a letter to the address that I have got on my receipt from NCS?

Thank you
Sara

Send the HO a letter with your case reference number to the address your sent your naturalization application, inform them you sent the letter to wrong address and you are not longer instructing solicitor.
