Relocating for contract jobs

Hi,
I got my ILR in April 2018 after the 5 year Tier 2 General route.
The ILR is valid till April 2024.
My recently got a job in Saudi Arabia for 6 months, recruited by a UK employer for their Saudi office so i think the payment will be all in Saudi riyals.
MY plan was to apply for British citizenship in March 2019, i wonder me working in Saudi will cause an issue if i take the job and move out of the country for this period.
Can you please clarify?
