Son's registration through MN1 form - No officially issued identity document

Post by shahsri » Tue Sep 18, 2018 10:38 pm

Hello All,

I have booked an appointment for my son to get him registered and get a passport through MN1 form. My son was born before I had an ILR. We did not travel to Pakistan so did not get his travel document or identity card. We are not sure if it is a requirement to have some sort of Pakistani identity for my son and were wondering if we could just attach a letter of explanation instead. We are planning to travel to Pakistan in January so applying 3 months in advance. We have an appointment on 25th sep and do not know who to take advice from. Kindly guide.
''''''''''''If XXXX has a passport then provide this with your application. If Mr XXXXX does not have a passport then you must provide another officially-issued identity document. This could include an official travel document or national identity card.'''''''''''''
