Apply for British Citizenship of my 11 months old child born in UK

Hi,
My son was born in UK in 2017 and i was on a Tier 2 visa at the time he was born.
I had to apply for his Indian passport last year before taking him to India.
I now have an ILR (Indefinite leave to remain). I believe my son is now eligible to apply for British nationality using MN1 form.
However, my son is in India and i am not sure if i can still use MN1 form and make an application in UK and then get his biometrics done in India?
Or how can i bring my son back in UK?
Any advise will be much appreciated.
