For a straight forward renewal of an Adult passport - no name changes or address changes I know they say 3 weeks but will it be done quicker?

Need to travel on 11th or 12th Oct so can I book my ticket now and not provide passport details until the new passport arrives?

Or shall I provide old passport details and then update with new?

If I use the post office check and send service will that speed up the process?

Assuming you mean a British Passport renewal, why not apply in person for a same day passport at one of the HMPO centres?? It literally takes 4 hours.

OR, apply using 1 week fast track.

Why do you need to be interviewed or attend an appointment for a renewal?

Where did I state you need to be interviewed or need an appointment??

Applying for a same day service, you drop off your application and return after 4 hours to pick up the passport!!!
