Good morning forum
A friend is about to apply for naturalisation and is worried about whether it will be refused on the basis of him working for 6 months whilst on Tier 4 'no work' visa in 2011. His previous Tier 4 allowed him to work for 20 hours but the college was suspended. He went to a new college and obtained a new CAS which was 'no work' however he continued to work according to the old CAS for 6 months before stopping.
Will this be counted against him when deciding his naturalisation application? Should he wait until 10 years from the date when he was free to work instead?
