Case ID

I applied JCAP application and received two Case ID reference for single application.
Is it common or any fishy happened while submitting my application?

Can you share a bit more how you ended up having two Case IDs?
I am in the same boat. I submitted online application on 31/7/2018. Got the acknowledgement email next day with a Case ID. Attended NDRS + JCAP on 1/8/2018
Passport fee deducted 30/8/2018 then got the same layout/format email as the original acknowledgement email on 31/8/2018 with a second Case ID.

The second one is also mention "Visa: Apply for naturalisation as a British Citizen", "Fee paid: 1330.00 GBP"
So it is not for the passport.
Did you got approval letter for the visa you submitted?

British citizenship is not a VISA!!

I think the above you are referring to the payment confirmation email.

I received an email from Home Office today confirming that I have been approved on 5th October but I am still due to receive the approve letter in the post. Good luck!!

How do you received the email, Normally there send only letters.
Do I need to contact them... It is almost 3 months now. Still I'm waiting without any response. Would you please advice how to contract them any email address or phone number.
I call HO three times, but there only reply is process time is 6 months.

Because of the mess up with the Case IDs, I emailed HO to ask about why I was given two IDs and to confirm which is my actual ID. I have waited for more than 10 days for their reply. The HO sent me an email today saying that I have been approved and need to wait for the approval letter now. Hope approval for you soon as well!!
