Grandparents’ details for British passport after naturalisation - PLEASE HELP, URGENT!

Hi Guys,

I have got my British naturalisation certificate and am applying for my British passport.

At the passport Check and Send service at the Post Office, they have asked me for my grandparents’ details, as I was born abroad and so were my parents.

The Post Office asked me for my grandparents’ details (full name, date of birth, town and country of birth and date of marriage).

I did not have all those details, just my grandparents’ full names and where they were born.

Does anyone know if this will be a problem in getting my British passport? I am from India, and back in the early 1900s, I don’t think they had all such details.

Please help guys, and thanks a lot in advance.

Grand parent details are NOT required if you are naturalised as British.

Thank you. I have given them whatever I have, which is not much. Thanks again for the quick reply.
