Good Afternoon everyone.

i would like to ask a question about naturalization.

my wife had a IRL BRP on June 2018 on long residence rout. from December 2014 she switched from dependent visa to Spouse and after 30 months toke an other extension of spouse visa for next 30 months. and before second spouse extension expire, she completed her 10 years on April 2018 and went for ILR on long residence rout.

my naturalization was done on February 2016 also on long residence rout.

now my question is does she has to wait 12 months for Naturalization on ILR or can she apply after ILR granted ?

Many Thanks

She can apply now if she meets the requirements of spouse of British citizenship 3 years residence, including being physically present 3 years ago on thr same date she applies for BC.

It means 3 years residence NOT married to a a BC for 3 years.

Even if you became British yesterday, she could still apply based on 3 years residence spouse if BC.
