Hi,
A friend asked me to be a first referee on her application. Would that affect my own AN application, which I am planning to do next month? As I have to give out all my details.
Kind regards,
Thanks.

Personal referee not the professional one, even though they asked for my profession and passport number.

A personal/friend referee must be British and over 25,
It is only the professional referee that can be of any nationality and be of a profession on the HO professional referee list.

By the way, thank you for your reply. I meant she wanted to use me as a first/personal referee. The second referee should be a professional referee. I hope this will help understand the situation.
Sorry was typing while you responded. I am an IT Support Technician can I do that? And most importantly will that affect my own AN application?
Thank you.

You cannot be her personal referee if you are not British.

Again, if you are NOT British, you cannot be your friends personal referee. You also cannot be her professional referee. So no, you cannot sign for your friend.
Page 11 of the AN Guidance notes is very clear on the requirements and you don't meet them to be her referee.
