The MN1 form asks "Have you had settlement in the UK?" and later on requests evidence of their settled status in the UK.

The child (applicant)
- is EEA citizen,
- was born in the UK
- her parents became UK citizens after her birth through naturalisation.

Does the child need to apply for settled status before registering as a UK citizen through the MN1 application?
If not, how is evidence of their settled status provided?

No, a UK born child does NOT require PR. They have an entitlement to register as British under section 1(3) of the nationality act once EITHER parents attains PR.

Not 'settled' evidence for the child required.
