Have already just done biometrics

Hi
My wife has last month received her biometrics citizen card and obviously had to go through the post office appointment to get the biometric details captured and sent to the home office.
Question is she is now applying for naturalisation and part of this application process is to again provide biometric information , is this still required as she has only just done this for her citizen card?
Thanks

biometrics citizen card
Do you mean Biometric
Residence Permit/card?? Did she apply for ILR? There is no such thing as citizenship card.
Question is she is now applying for naturalisation and part of this application process is to again provide biometric information , is this still required as she has only just done this for her citizen card?
She has to enroll her biometric information again for citizenship naturalisation yes.

Hi
Apologies yes it is the biometric residence card, my bad on the terminology.
She has had Indefinate leave to remain for 20 years however we decided to get the biometric residence card as her South African passport is about to expire.
She has only just received the new biometrics residence card last month but we have now decided to finally bite the bullet with the cost of naturalisation but have discovered upon submitting the AN form online that she again is being asked to provide biometric data. You have indicated that she will need to provide this for a second time even though she has only just done it for her residence card?
Thanks

Enrolling biometrics information is required for each application made to Home Office, regardless of how recent the last enrollment at the post office was.
Note also that she needs English B1 or UK degree AND the life in the UK test, if she hasn't got these already, assuming she is not exempt.
Also make sure she was physically present in the UK at the start of the qualifying period for Citizenship and is within the absence limit.

p.s. there was also no need to get the biometric card before applying for citizenship if she held ILR in an expired passport.

Thanks for your replies.
We decided to go for the residence card as some people like employers see an expired passport and assume that everything including the ILR is expired and it just causes Idiot spammer trying to explain.
I guess what’s done is done now anyway and the home office would not refund the residence card cost nor discount the citizenship application in lue.
She has the English certificate which she took the test at Trinity this past weekend. She took the life in the UK test and passed this too in 2010 but we never progressed the citizenship application due to financial restraints, she has consequently lost her pass certificate for the life in the UK test so I am hoping that the home office has a record of that but I am already preparing for the probability that I will need to pay to get this done again.
Just seems like this is a big money making racket as I will also now have to go and pay for biometrics again.
Thanks for you help

She will need to redo the LIUK and use the new books as the material has changed a bit since 2010.
If she has never used the previous Liuk test for an application, HO won't have a record of it.
