Hi Moderators,
Can you please advise me on my daughter’s passport.
My daughter is 3 years old and was born in UK. I have recently been granted a indefinite visa to remain. My daughter has a Indian passport. I would like to ask you if my daughter can apply for a British passport.
If yes, what’s the process of applying and how long does it takes.
Thank you

If she was born before you got ILR, you have to register her as British on form MN1 before you can get a passport.

Hello Moderators,
I would be pleased if you can help me. Does the MN1 form needs to be filled in block capital letters online?
Thank you

Hello sir, can you please help.
Getting 2 refree’s is turning out to be a really difficult task. So,
1. I have a family friend of my wife, who knows my daughter from the days she’s born and she’s a British citizen too.
2. I have a common friend who is a British citizen and who knows me and my family from last couple of years and he is currently in the British army. He had a previously got a drink and driving ban for 9 months which is not there anymore.
3.Can he refer my daughter as he had a driving conviction for drink and driving?
4. Can I count him (army guy) as a professional referee?
Thank you
