Applied for naturalisation - no letter, no acknowledgement?

Hi all,

Perhaps my reading comprehension is fading - so I figured I'd ask here :-)

On 21/11 I applied for naturalised citizenship and on 26/11 I had my appt at the London UKVCAS lounge, where they scanned my docs.

SInce then - I've not heard anything. No email, no letters via post - nothing. I assumed I was to receive some sort of communication from UKVCAS or the Home Office concerning receipt of my biometric data and supporting documentation, is this not the case?

thanks!

Hi,

I am on the same boat although I had my appointment on 07/12 and it is just 3 business days since appointment.

However, one of the group members here posted that he also had an appointment on 07/12 and got a confirmation email from HO today.

Fingers crossed.

We had our appointment in the middle of November and never received a confirmation email.

Thanks for the responses.

For the amount you pay - you'd think there would be some confirmation. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
