Hi,

I have applied for citizenship on 18th of November 2018. Route taken was Tier 2 General + 1Yr ILR.

I applied using online application and submitted the documents using standard postal service instead of NCS.

I was filling in the timeline for my application and noticed that there is a way to apply for passport same time. Which i did not apply for.

I am still waiting for the citizenship approval, and was thinking that can i apply for the passport now?

Reason for urgency is that i have to travel in Feb, and i am struggling to see that i will have the passport in hand by then to travel

You can't apply for passport now and will have to wait till you have attended your ceremony.

The scheme to apply for citizenship and passport at the same time recently was through NDRS and not NCS as it used to be. The scheme has closed now anyway.
