British Citizen ILR restriction

Hi,
I have completed online form and paid £1330. While preparing my supporting documents, I noticed that I may misunderstood the ILR requirement:
If you’ve lived in the UK for the last 5 years you may be able to: apply if you’ve had indefinite leave to remain for the last 12 months
I have been granted the ILR and received the BRP as Settlement since only 2 months ago. In this case, am I qualified to apply British Citizen ? or I have to wait for more 10 months ?
If so, how can I cancel my application ? Will it make bad record for my future application in 10 months ?

Please advice.

Many thanks.
Best regards,

You have to wait the full 12 months on ILR.

The only time you don't have to wait is if you are married to a British citizen.

As you have no posting history on the forum and have not stated your route to ILR, it is a general response.

Many thanks for the response.

I have 5 year Tier 2. NON EU.

Do I need to cancel my application or just do not send all my documents ? Will it affect my future BC application ?

It won't affect a future application but you might lose your fee you have paid now.

You don't qualify for citizenship yet if you are not married to a British citizen. It will be refused if you continue with the application.
