Hi all,
I am planning to apply BC in few months but was wondering after submtting/sending out my application, can I still travel abroad while they are processing my application?
Do i have to submit my original current national passport and ILR card as well?
Many thanks,
P

There are no restrictions on travel - if you use online + UKVCAS appointment then you will retain your PP/BRP. If using postal application you need to send the originals and may not get them back for a few months. Be aware the UKVI may contact you whilst away for additional information (by post) so have someone monitor your mail.

Thanks for your answer.
Last questions, if I deaign to apply online with UKVCAS on their website, do I still have to register an application via GOV.uk website ? Like when I previously applied for ILR and so on.

Hi again,
I want to retain my passport and BRP (ILR) card so I will apply via UKVCAS service.
Does it mean I just apply through their website directly straight away? No need to go on and register onGOV.uk website like I used/had to (or fillling in form AN) online anymore.
If someone could kindly confirm if I got this rightthen I will be rally thankful.

No, you still have to apply using form AN online at UKVI website.

UKVCAS are only the receiving agents for applications/biometrics.
You can only use the AN application via gov.uk - UKVI's role has not changed, they process and decide all applications.
