Travelling after submitting Naturalization Application

Hi I have an ILR and i become eligible to apply for naturalization in June 2019.
My question is, after submitting my application, can i go abroad to be with my parents as they are old and not well. Also is it possible that i stay with them an then come back for the naturalization ceremony? Or do i need to remain within UK until I have been granted British Citizenship? Do i postpone/ cancel all travel plans while my application will be in process?
Many thanks.

If you apply via the UKVCAS, you will keep your original documents (Passport, BRP, etc) and you are free travel.
NO requirement to be in the UK

Hi Zimba,
Thanks for your reply. So will i provide my international address for correspondence? Will UKVCAS send off my scanned documents for the citizenship and then write/email me when the time comes for the naturalization?
Also do i need to be present in the UK for the naturalization ceremony? or could i have this at the British high commission abroad?
Lastly, I understand by reading some of the threads on this forum that there is a permanent resident or residence permit card, however when i was granted ILR back in 2011, i wasn't issued any such cards so do i have to apply for such a card before i can apply for the citizenship?
Thanks.

There is a difference between travelling out for a short vacation or trip for a couple of weeks etc and effectively moving out and giving HO a foreign address to communicate with you. This will cast huge doubt on your 'future intentions', which is part of the info you would have confirmed in the form. There have been refusals for applicants applying and then moving out of the UK for extended periods.

Yes you do. There are very limited circumstances where you can have your ceremony abroad.

No you don't.
