Applying with ILR granted under Appendix EU

Hi,

I've got an ILR granted under Appendix EU ("Settled status").

As this scheme doesn't require anymore the comprehensive medical insurance, even having a gap (Months), I didn't have any problem (I only had to gave them proofs of residence).

I'm thinking on applying in 1 year for British Citizenship, but I'm not totally sure if they are checking the comprehensive medical insurance for the previous 6 years.

Anyone read any information on their documents? I can't find anything in reference to the new Settled Status...

The gap was practically 5 years ago, so the alternative is to wait 1 year + the gap. Can I have any problems with that alternative plan? Do they check ONLY the previous 6 years before applying for British Citizenship?

Many thanks!

You got settled status which doesn't require CSI and a small gap is not an issue. If you had applied for PR it might be a different story. In any case, you were not illegal in the country without CSI - EU Free Movement.
