Hi,

I am trying to apply for naturalisation for my mother who is over 75.

We have 2 referees for her,

1) Pharmacist Manager, British Citizen, over 25

2) Retail Sales Assistant, British citizen, over 25 (has a university degree)

Is the second person an acceptable referee? Or do I need to find another professional?

You need 1 professional that can be of any nationality (Pharmacist manager is acceptable I believe)

And another referee who is British (I think his/her age should be 25 or older but please check) the 2nd referee doesn’t have to be a professional.
