Other names - online naturalisation form

Hi!

Thanks for the great advice on this site.

I've nearly finished my naturalisation form online but I'd like some advice.

Do I need to include 'other names' in my application?

Here's why I'm not sure.

Using a generic example, my passport name is Steve Dave Jones Smith.

On one of my last employment letters it says Steve Dave Smith and on my degree it says Steve Smith.

Do I need to include Steve Dave Smith as 'other name'?

Latin passports usually carry two last names but I also have scaled down versions on letters/certificates that don't carry mother's maiden name.

I'd like my full name on any future passport for context.

Thank you.

I doubt that could be termed as other names. They seem more short or preferred names.

Your name on birth certificate, passport, driving license or other such identification documents (that you may submit as proof) must all be same to avoid confusion. Name on letters issued by employers may not be a problem but would've been better if you got your full name on your degree certificate (not just for this application but in general for other applications/scenarios).

Marriage certificate question

Hi,

I have a query which is bugging me.

On my British marriage certificate, my job title has a general term for the work I do rather than my exact job title.

Instead of it saying Website Manager it says Marketing Manager.

Could this be a problem?

Thanks!

Spouse other name and doc upload

Hi!

I'm about to submit my naturalisation application.

There's a couple of small things I'd like to get some advice on.

1. My British wife's passport is in her maiden name. Her bank account is in her married name. I've adder her maiden name on the online form as that matches her passport. But do I need to add other names as she uses her married name on her banking?

2. Can you just take a screenshot of the marriage certificate on your phone and upload that? Or do you need to get it scanned? The certificate is quite wide which doesn't fit a lot of printers.

Thanks for your help!
