UKVCAS appointment and follow-up

Hi all,
I sent my HO naturalisation application, got the confirmation email from them and then I attended my UKVCAS appointment last week (premium service at £200). My passport was scanned again and the lady confirmed that all documents seem to be there and easy to read (no point of paying £35 extra for checking I think).
Since then, I don’t have any communication from the Home Office that my documents are received, etc. The Sopra staff lady said that I should receive some notification from the HO.
Is this the normal process?
