Good morning.
I am new to this forum. I have to come to know of many good things from this forum and members.
I would like to have advise on how and when to apply for naturalisation and citizenship. I got ILR in October 2018 based on completing 6 years discretionary leave. I passed the grade 5 GESE CEFR level B1.1 a couple of weeks back.
What do I have to do next and when can I apply for naturalisation and citizenship.
Thank you.

1. You need to hold ILR for 12 months before you can apply for citizenship unless you are married to a British citizen.
2. You need Life in the UK test for citizenship.
3. English test is fine if it is one from the HO approved list and from an HO approved test provider.
4. What is your full UK immigration history, particularly the period before you were granted DLR?

Have you passed Life in the UK test. You also need that for cirizenship.

Thanks CR001 and Sanj.
My immigration history before DLR was that I was married to a British citizen , however marriage broke down before 2 years expiry of spouse visa. HO issued me with 3 years DLR visas. Succeeded with an extension for further 3 years DLR visas. After completing 6 years DLR visas last October, I was awarded ILR.
I have passed Life in the uk test in September 2008 which I believe is valid.
What step do I need to take to apply for british citizenship in October 2019.
