Query on 10 year Work history

Hi Everyone,
I hope all is well. I have a small confusion on the work history being self employed/director of ltd company in between jobs.
So I am a director of a ltd company since 2012 to date but company didn’t have a lot of activity in some of the years as I was fully employed but in some of the years I was both employed and self employed. However since April last year March I am employee of my company up until now.
So the question is:
In the most recent work history should I write self employed since “March last year to date” or since 2012 to date?
