12-month waiting time for spouse after ILR

Hi,

I became a British citizen last year through 10yr route and my wife recently received her ILR ( :D ) (ILR issued on March, 2019). We are thinking of applying for her naturalization without waiting 12 months which was obligatory for my naturalization application. The reason we want to make the application right now is that The GOV.UK says "You will not need to wait 12 months to apply if you’re married to a British citizen."

Now given I am a naturalized British Citizen, my question is do I fall under this category of "British citizen" mentioned by the GOV.UK or I will be classified different because I am not a British Citizen by my birth right and therefore we should wait 12month before processing her naturalization application.

Any clarification is much appreciated.
All the best

Yes, why wouldn't you be??

It does NOT say 'married to a British Citizen by birth'!! You are British, end of.
