Proof of living in the UK if not working

Hello,
I've seen a few threads on the subject of proof of living in the UK & documents required.
My issue is that I haven't been working, thus don't have a P60 as proof. (I did work for 12 days but this was before the 3 year qualification period)
I do have my passport & have provided details of my absences over the past 3 years on the application form which is reflected in my passport although I only have an entry stamp to the UK after a week's trip to Australia last year, not an arrival stamp in Australia - maybe as travelling on an Australian passport.
Are e-tickets for flights useful / accepted?
I tried calling the help number but they were very unhelpful and told me that examples were in the application form, but, having completed the application (online), this is no longer visible.
I don't want to turn up at the interview / biometrics appointment and be rejected!
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.

As you are Australian, did you follow the UK immigration route to ILR!? If yes, you only need your passports.

Your biometric appointment is not an interview.

When you say UK immigration route -, do you mean via one of the tiers? I married a Brit, so via the 5 years worth of spousal visas to ILR.
At the biometic appointment, do you know if they will just check my passport, visa, my husband's passport & return all docs to us then & there?
What about the missing arrival stamp in Aus?
Thanks,
Julie.

Yes you will get your original documents back.

You only need your passports as proof of residence, nothing else.

You simply need to state your absence dates in the form and provide your full passport. HO has acces to your records from the Stupid if they want to cross check.
