I applied for British citizenship (naturalisation) online and had my bimoetric taken (UKVCAS) on 8/2/2019. Still waiting for decision.

My question: Am I supposed to receive any kind of confirmation of my application either before or after biometric enrollment apart from the fee payment confirmation email?

On the date (if submitted during working hour) or next working date of your submission and paid for the application you should receive a confirmation email from the system confirm your case ID and stated that it will take up to 6 months to process.
