Hi,
My family and I are going to apply for the BC soon. However, I have a below court outcome dating back to 1994. Could this stop me becoming a British citizen?

According to Police Record:

Court: Melbourne Local Court
Court Date: 04/12/1994
Offence: Common Assault
Court Result: Fined $250

Could you please share your thoughts? Can I still become a citizen? What would be the result?

Kind regards,

Hi,

Under the "Convictions" section I wrote the below explanation. Could you please tell me your thoughts if this is an enough explanation? And, should I also upload Police Certificate I ordered from the Australian Federal Police in the Supporting Document section?

I was charged for common assault against person who (I believe) deliberately kicked my car while I was working as a taxi driver on the weekend in Melbourne, Australia. The incident happened very fast and it was mostly exchanging of bad words. Both side submitted a complaint to the Police. I was fined $250 by the Melbourne Local Court. This incident occurred in 1994. Please see the National Police Certificate in the Supporting Documents section.
