Applying for naturalisation for my wife who just got ILR approval decision by email.
I read this from the AN guidance:
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... ooklet.pdf
Self-employed applicants
If you do not pay tax through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) arrangements, we require the most recent HM Revenue & Customs Self-Assessment Statement of Account.
My wife does not work so would that be an issue for her?

If she does not work, then you simply state in the form she is unemployed.
Employment is NOT a mandatory requirement for citizenship.

Okay.
Do we have to again attach cohabitation proof for last 2 years like we did with the ILR application of my wife?

No. Simply attach the minimal documents asked for. You are not repeating a visa or ILR process. Citizenship is a completely independent and different set of laws.

While filling the form, there is requirement for one referee to have professional standing. Is director of a limited company eligible to be a referee with professional standing? where can I find the full list of eligible professions?

No idea.
Both referees must be of good character.

I found another person for referee but that person got speeding pointed in this year too

Any source of rules I can use to confirm what implies a good character for a referee?
