Citizenship approval letter

Hi team
Can anybody who has received citizenship approval confirm if the approval letters come via standard royal mail post or via DX courier?
Is there anyway to know the status of the citizenship application either through phone or some other means in website?
If it's not tracked via any proper correspondence and if the post is lost then it's very difficult to know the outcome.
Any help would be great.
