British Citizenship and 100 Days + absense

Hi, Hope everyone is doing great.

I had been living in the UK from 14 years now and I received my ILR in 2017 on the basis of 10 years long residency.

I would like to apply for British Neutralization but I am out of the country for more than 100 days because my wife was pregnant. I had a baby in March 2019.

I spent most of my 14 years in the UK like 95%.

I would like to know If I apply and show that my wife was pregnant and I had to go to Pakistan during that time and that was the reason I stayed over 100 days out of country etc or show compelling circumstances?

Please advise

Thank you

How many days exactly?? Saying "over 100 days" is very vague as it could be 120 or 500.

Pregnancy is not considered exceptionally compassionate reasons either.

I am overstayed for 120 days.

So what will be the case where I can get my British passport sooner.

I been living here from 14 years and got my residency in 10 years, is that not possible that I get it sooner or something

Simply staying in the UK for 14 years doesn't give any special rights or entitlements re British citizenship.

Why not simply wait till you are more within the limit or closer to the limit, say 100 days in last 12 months and then apply.
