NARIC letter confirming qualification

Hi,

I am in the process of applying for UK naturalisation. My nationality is Australian and I have an Australian bachelors degree.

One of the documents specified on the checklist is a "NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK".

I thought Australians are exempt from proving knowledge of English? - https://www.gov.uk/english-language

If the NARIC letter is required then should I be ordering the "Statement of Comparability"?

Thanks!

It is not needed as your are exempt from the English language requirement.

Do not tick for a degree in the form. The question is not about how qualified you are but is only relevant to meting the English requirement which you don't need to do.

Hello

The question automatically appeared on the online form and I ticked “yes” because my degree was taught in English. I then submitted and paid for the application. What should I do now pls- order the naric letter? Include a letter to HO explaining?

Thanks!

You don't need naric. Just add a brief covering note.

I am sure other users have posted that there is an option for exempt from English but not sure.

Hi, following up on this, did you need the NARIC letter to prove your degree was at the equivalent level? I'm in a similar situation. It appeared on my checklist once I completed my online application form, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere else.
