Hi all, please can you help with the following.

UKVI requirement:"You must have been physically present in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands on the day 5 years before the application is received by the Home Office."

Does this mean the actual application form on its own when you pay for it or when the whole document pack scanned at UKVCAS and received by them? Also does UKVI normally receive application the same or the next day? I had a trip just after a 5 year qualifying period. Would it be safe to submit the application 3-4 days before my absence started?

Thank you!

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online. You must have been physically present in the UK on the same date 5 years ago, ie the start of the qualifying period.

Thank you very much, so if I login application when I was present here and send documents through Sopra when I was away 5 years ago it shouldn't be a problem?
