Hello,

I have applied for Registration of my daughter for British citizenship as a child under 18 (Online- Sopra Steria) on 10th April. We still have her Indian Passport and Tier 2 Dependent BRP card. We need to travel to India for 3 days on 6th June. Is it ok to travel outside UK while we have this application with Home office?

Free to travel and return as long as she has a valid visa to re-enter the UK.

When the Registration application is approved, will her existing Tier2 dependent VISA becomes inactive?

Her current VISA is valid till November, but I am only concerned about Registration being approved while we are away and stopped at airport on return if the Tier2 dependent VISA becomes invalid?

She will be fine to re-enter the UK on her current visa.
