hi everyone
a friend of mine whos naturalisation application is under process since mid march went on holiday and was coming back from a non EU country last week with more than 200 cigarettes and was stopped by customs and given a warning where he signed the form , he is worried if this could affect his application? he was told by the customs officer that this is a civil offence and not criminal offence, so it wont affect him in anyway, could please senior ops here have any advise for my friend because he is worried as it will be on customs record and would
homeofffice check that as a good character requirement?
thanks
