Need help with English Language requirement

Hello everyone,
I am currently researching naturalisation process. I am aware of the English language requirement. However, my situation is slightly different. When I first applied for a Tier 2 visa back in 2011, my degree certificate was accepted as proof of English language. Later on, the rules changed and my degree certificate stopped being recognised for English language requirements. People like me were asked to bring a certificate from NARIC. However, I did not have to submit any English language proofs or a NARIC certificate when I subsequently got 2 Tier 2 visas after the first one and finally my ILR in 2017. This was because I had satisfied Enlighs language requirement when I was granted a Tier 2 visa for the first time.
I am not sure if on that basis, I will be exempted from submitting English language proof when I apply for naturalisation. The application form does not have an option to specify this.
Has anyone experienced this before? Where can I find more guidance?
Thanks
