Referee form

Hello,

Yesterday I submitted my citizenship application but after I submitted, I noticed something in the referee form which I didn’t before.

https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... on_MN1.pdf

"For an adult application, one referee should be a person of any nationality who has
professional standing, eg minister of religion, civil servant, or a member of a
professional body e.g. accountant or solicitor (who is not representing you with this
application)."

In my application, I put my old colleagues whom I know for over 3 years. One British, the other Spanish with ILR. I missed this part completely where I needed to give one professional standing person.

Do you think it could get rejected based on that fact? Is there a way to withdraw and get refunded so I can fix the problem? I haven’t given my documents yet, like I said, it was just submitted yesterday.

Thank you for your help.

One must be a British citizen and one MUST be a person in an acceptable professional capacity.
Find a suitable professional referee and get them to sign the form. Take the new referee form and a covering letter to your appointment.
