Hi Guys

I’m a bit confused and angry.
I’m a EU citizen and applied for citizenship on 13 Feb19 together with my wife on the same application. We both are from EU came to the UK in 2010, got the ILR end of 2018 recognition our time here since 2010 (no offences whatsoever, not even penalties)

Now, there are 5 months and one week since we applied and still no sign from Home Office. It is really frustrating. I know 5 persons who applied after us and got the approval within 5 weeks. I can’t wait for the 6 months date to contact them.

Have you heard similar straight forward cases? Do they reimburse declined applications?

Yes, many. Some members have been waiting over a year.

Do they reimburse declined applications?

No they do not. You only get the £80 ceremony fee back.
