Hi
I am in the process of MN1 registration of my 2 children. My work status has been updated, will receive BRP soon ( ILR through TIER 1 Entrepreneur). I have few questions regarding online application
1) can i fill 2 applicants ( 2 children) in same online application .
online application form show
Additional applicant
To add another applicant, select their relationship to you. If you do not wish to add another applicant, complete the application for the main applicant and select brother under 18 or sister under 18.
that means relationship between 2 kids?
2) My elder child passport (indian nationality) has been expired.
In online form
Do you have a valid passport? i have to put NO?
3) Do you have a valid national identity card? what is this?
4) Do you have a travel document? what is this. My elder child has passport and brp only and younger one don't have. What i have to put in this section
5)Which parent or legal guardian would you like to add details about? i am applying on my behalf (ILR settlement) Is it ok to put one parent details?
6 Was your biological parents married at your time of birth? We are religious married. I have to say yes or no?
7) Are you relying on your parent's permanent residence (either as an EEA National or the family member of an EEA National) as evidence of their settled status in the United Kingdom?
i tick 'no' in this section. am i Right?

After referee section. There is bio-metric detail section
Biometric residence permit details
Are you able to provide a biometric residence permit (BRP) card with this application?
Is they asking about BRP for me or my Child. My elder child have and younger don't have.

If the below applies, then you are married legally yes.
Sikh weddings are legal under UK law, as long as the building in which the ceremony is held is registered for the solemnisation of marriages. If not, you will need to arrange a civil ceremony beforehand.
The reason I asked is that an Islamic marriage performed in the UK is not recognised and you would not be considered married. Its all in the detail of your answers when asked a specific questions.

I have islamic marriage done only and have not registered my marriage in UK. I applied for my elder daughter’s MN1 and answered yes to being married. I stated religious marriage. I had no issues. Similarly I did same for my second daughter when I applied for her British Passport. No issues again.
(When I registered birth of my second child, the registrar asked us (me and my wife); are you married? We said yes we are religiously married but we have not registered our marriage in UK. She said as long as you both consider yourself married thats all what matters. Only my wife had to sign the birth certificate as it was considered that we are married)

3)Date this parent / legal guardian became settled in the United Kingdom. On my BRP date is from 20 July 2019 . I have to put this date?

The form asked father’s and mother’s details. So i put both parent’s details.
I am not sure but I would assume you could use the same referees for both children.
2) Professional referee has to know the child in professional capacity e.g. minister of religion, health visitor, teacher etc.
3) Yes

HO is not strict when it comes to young children’s referee.
I got mine by minister of religion.
If you google the forum you might get some alternate answers.

i search on ukvi website
The referee must:
• have known the (adult) applicant for at least 3 years
• a British passport holder and either a professional person or aged over 25 (at
least one referee must be a professional person)
The referee must not:
• be related to the applicant or the other referee
• be the applicant’s representative
• be employed by the Home Office
• have been convicted of an imprisonable offence in the last 10 years for which
the sentence is not spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
For child applicants at least one of the referees must be a person who has dealt with
the child in a professional role such as a teacher, doctor, health visitor or social
worker. Where a child cannot provide a referee who has dealt with them in a
professional capacity and has provided documents to show that they have attempted
to do so, you can accept 2 referees who meet the criteria for referees on adult
applications.
what you think so can i use my accountant? or it will be problem to use accountant as refree
