Dear Imm Gurus
I am planning to apply for naturalisation application in Sept 2019

Do I need to send off my ILR BRP ?
can I travel outside UK after I have applied?

also I have already been outside the UK for 79 days within last 12 months. Assuming I can travel after applying would that be counted towards absence from UK until application is decided or absence is only counted before the application is submitted?

Can I still use NCS?

No. All supporting documents are scanned and uploaded. You don't apply by post anymore. You apply online and then make an appointment at UKCVAS centre for biometric and document check.

Yes.

Only absence up to the date of application, which is the date you submit and pay online, is counted towards the absence limit.

There is no longer an NCS service available since November last year. You apply online and make an appointment at UKCVAS.
