hi,
i have a inquiry regarding my child if he is illegible for British passport. i the father got indefinite (ILR) stay in the UK in 2014 and got British passport on September 2018, i was married to my partner in march 2016. my child was born in Pakistan on November 2016, i applied for a family Visa for my spouse and child. The Family visa was approved and my family entered the UK on December 2018. I am aware i need a extend my partner visa in a few years, i wanted to know the procedure for my child if he is eligible for a British passport and what application is required to complete? as he is only 2.5 years old.

if you can please assist

thanks

No, the child has no entitlement to register as British or apply for a passport (child is not British and only a British citizen can get a passport).

The child will follow the same path as your spouse, visa extension then ILR and then citizenship.
