Hi all,

I hope someone can assist wit the issue that I have experienced while completing my naturalisation application for British citizenship.

I have some work related travel plans over the next few months and will require my passport. When I select "No" in "Your passport" section, but "Yes" for being able to provide the copy of my passport, I am then taken to a section about national identity card. The next section is "Your travel document"(A travel document is a certificate issued by a governing body (in the UK or abroad) which acts as a temporary form of identification and allows you to travel internationally without a passport.) to which I answer "No".

The next section showing up is where I am stuck. Section is called "Reason for not providing identification documents" with the description "Explain why you are unable to provide either a valid national identity card or a travel document. Proof of identity is usually required to make a valid application." However, I can provide my National Identity card or Permanent residency card I was issued as a proof of identity.

Could you please advice the best way to proceed?
