Hello all Genius,

I applied BC application on 4th july 2019 basis on after 6 years DLR + 1 YEAR ILR.
I came into UK in Feb 2011 on student visa (Tier4) valid till August 2012.
I got married in the UK in November 2011 (Wife holded refugee status at that time.)I made an application in January 2012 on Article 8 human rights basis and granted DLR in April 2012 to april 2015.I made an other application in 28 days before DLR expire, I granted 3 year more DLR .I applied ILR last year in April 2018 same day service and I granted ILR valid till 2024.
My question is I switched my visa category student to DLR route in 2012, I couldn't complete my study course.Will it affect on my good character requirement for BC application?
2nd question is I came in the UK legally on student visa and granted DLR before expire my student visa, There is no refusal , no appeals in my all immigration history.I applied earlier for BC or I needed to wait 10 years after grant my 1st DLR in 2012.
Please reply I will be very thankful to you.

I wrote an e-mail to FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk requesting an update 1 week ago.
I got email reply.
All applications are dealt with in application receipt date order.
As you application was received on 4 July 2019, It will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.
I emailed again 1 day ago for update and got reply on same day.

My question is A friend can confirm my identity for 1st adult British passport online application?
He is working as a security guard and holding British passport.
Is it necessary that person should be professional ? Please guide.

You need two referees: One professional but can be any nationality, the other one simply must be British

For passport it needs to be a professional referee.
