Referee declaration scanned through

Hi All,

I have a question. I'm helping a relative with their application. One of their referee is currently abroad on holiday so they signed the form and scanned it over. When appointment time with UKVCAS comes it'll be obvious to them that one of the Referee declarations is a copy, will this be a problem?

Thanks in advance

It’s not a problem tbh.. one is meant to upload scanned copies.. sopra doesn’t check docs as such.. only current passport..
atleast it was useless on my part.. as I had scanned everything before hand. The only thing the guy asked for was my passport.

Home office could check the signature for genuineness. It is ok to have scans

The referee forms require the applicant’s photo to be attached first before the signature. If you scan the form how do you plan to stick on the photo?

Maybe print the scan without the photo, stick the photo and scan again?
If its looks ok in the scan it should be okay.

Thank you all for your responses. We did not have any issues with the UKVCAS and now we wait for the Home Office! The referee was genuine so guessing the worst that could happen is the HO contacting them to confirm. Will come back to update with any outcome re this topic in a few/many months!
