Hi

I am a British Citizen, I got my citizenship back in 2010 and my Wife got her citizenship in 2011. we have 2 kids born in the UK.

Due to some family reasons we have to go back to India in 2017. we were not claiming any benefits although my kids were receiving the child allowance. I requested the council to stop this as we were initially intending to stay for more than 6 months outside of UK

Its been more than 2 years now since we haven't gone back to UK. But were planning on visiting during Christmas. Please advise if this is going to be an issue? and if there is a restriction for BC not to stay outside UK for any amount of time

Kind Regards
Faz

You are free to travel and live outside of the UK.

Not sure why you believe there's is an issue.

Also not sure what "child allowance" you refer to.
