underage born outside UK

Hello guys!
I would like to have some help.
i am hungarian citizenA8 my wife is el Salvadoran citizen
i have two boys
my first son was born in 04/07/2004 outside of uk.
we arrived to uk 05/03/2005..i obtained my Worker Registration Scheme (WRS) Certificate on the 10/03/05.my second son was born here on the 17/09/2006.we have been living here in the uk since than.
i just got my settled status sorted.
we would like to sort out their british citizenship.
i was told the young one can apply on the MN1 application.
but she was struggling with my son who was born outside of the uk.
she told me that we should apply on MN1 for here hoping to get the citizenship on discretionary basis.
could anyone please help me out here.

The child born outside the UK will qualify to apply for citizenship if they hold settled status AND either parent is also applying for citizenship and the other parent is settled. A child born abroad has no entitlement to register. As your child is 15, they are also subject to eh good character requirment.

A UK born child has an entitlement to register as British once either parent is settled.

any suggestion if it worth to try it in any other way?
or leave it like this,and he has to do it on his own when he will be 18.

Unlikely as the parents are not British either. If your try and it is refused, you lose your fee.
