Hello,
I received my ILR BRP in the post in January 2019 but the accompanying letters were all dated November 2018.
So my question, Can I apply in November 2019 or do I need to wait until January 2020 to submit my application.

What's the date on the BRP?

There is a line "Date and Place of Issue". The date of issue is your reference regardless when you received by post.

I actually never noticed the Date on the BRP itself.
Thanks for pointing that out for me.

The date the ILR was granted matters i.e. the date on the approval letter. BRP sometimes is processed or printed on a later date due to various reasons (technical fault etc).

my question was between the date on the letter and the date I received the BRP in post. I didn't realise there was a date displayed on the BRP itself. Thanks.
