How does HO contact us regarding citizenship decisions?

Post by ntt05r » Fri Oct 11, 2019 9:05 am

As far as I understand:

- Some applicants are contacted by email;
- Most are contacted by post but sometimes the council ceremony letter arrives before the decision letter.

Is my understanding correct? It's been almost 2 months since I applied but heard nothing back. I'd like to think it is a straight forward case. Never had any complications with applications before.

Standard is second class post in an A5 brown envelope.

Those contacted by email are rare and only after contacting HO after 6 months or so usually.
