Hello Members,

Can you kindly guide me if I can apply for British Passport for my son who is born in India from UK.
I have his birth certificate from India and I am in UK at present. On that basis can I apply for his passport in UK or does it needs to be applied from India only ?

I have seen the timelines for processing when applying from India is 16 weeks while applying from UK is 3 weeks hence thinking of later option.

My baby is in India so does it needs to applied from India only ?
Timelines from India for British Passport is 16 weeks so trying to find other options.
