Life in the UK - warning

I wanted to warn all applicants to check all documents to prove your identity as we were unpleasantly surprised by the approach of the staff.
Lady in front of us had a very long surname which didn't fit on the driving licence, so she was refused to attend the exam due to "non-matching" details!
New EU Id documents no longer include signatures...which was required! Luckily we had signed credit cards with us, but please make sure that address documents are originals, are withing the specified date (3 months), all details are exactly the same as those given on the booking as they will refuse to let you in!
If you travelling with a kid, make sure someone can stay with them and there is a place near to wait, as we were asked to leave the building when my wife was taking the exam!
Don't take any thick jumpers, wear a short-sleeve shirt, as I was asked to take the jumper off. My watch, glasses, ears, collars, trousers, socks were searched as well.
